Hack #11: Magnetic Knife Holder

One of things Liz and I agree on is that we don't want the galley of our teardrop to look too cluttered, so we're trying to keep it functional and fairly minimalistic (not that tons of clever, creative things people do isn't great for them--it's just that we tend to be a little more sparse in our own tastes). 

So, today we put in a small strip of pine to the left of the left-hand galley cabinet door, and attached three magnets we got from the hardware store (attached to the pine by Commander strips).

Here's the result, and it seems that it'll function well:
