Trip: Fort Flager State Park, WA
In keeping with our monthly, pre-booked camping trips, Liz and I headed to Fort Flagler State Park--across the water from Port Townsend, WA. Fort Flagler was part of the so-called "Triangle of Fire" that was designed to thwart any sea-based invasion in the late 1800s through the mid-1950s. The "triangle" consisted of Fort Worden, Fort Casey, and Fort Flagler--all of which are now WA state parks.

We posted on Facebook to a number of friends where we'd be, what our sites were, and invited them to join us, if so inclined. This time, we have our son, daughter in law, and granddaughter, the Reed family, and the Brown family--all fantastic people, and easy to camp with.
