Our Stove

We didn't get a teardrop that has a deep enough galley to install a stove, an icebox, and other things that can slide in and out of the galley space, so we purchased a Camp Chef stove that can stand alone wherever we put it, and has been an awesome addition to our gear.

We bought it at a "Big 5" sporting goods store for around $100, and it's been a fantastic choice. We can move it around to wherever it works best, and our 2.5 gallon propane tank means we have plenty of fuel for wherever we are. Also, we appreciate that it doesn't have to be directly underneath our galley hatch, putting up a big amount of either smoke or steam onto the underside of the hatch.

We store it easily on the tongue rack of the teardrop, and we store the propane tank there, as well.

The two flip-down sides of the stove make it very convenient to set down utensils and other stuff.

Ignore the banjo player in the foreground, and focus on the stove in the background! :-)
