Hack #10: Flip-up Galley Table
We love our basic galley, and after camping a couple of times with it, decided we also wanted to add a supplemental flip-up side table. Just finished it today.
Here's how the galley looked originally:
This little flip-up table is solid as a rock!

How do you keep your bedding neat ... and presentable?
ReplyDeleteHi Larry - Well, we sewed the middle of the bottom ends of the bottom and top sheets together (actually, my mom did, since neither of us sews!), so it's easy to keep the sheets in place. Then, each morning, we just stretch out the double bed-size comforter into place (even though it's a queen size bed, a double size comforter overhangs enough), and...budda bing!
DeleteGreat sheet idea!! And I love the table addition. Since I have the same teardrop and have been redoing my galley, I'll see if I can do this table add. I removed that lower wood panel and pushed it toward cabin for room for yeti and cookstove.

Interesting idea about the lower panel, Michelle. The Falcon doesn't have a deep enough recess for a Yeti, but if you are short enough to lose the footspace, that sounds like a great solution!
